After a nice morning cruise on the bike, I need a little pick me up. Bike In Coffee at Old Town Farm is the spot to get fresh espresso and some tasty breakfast tacos or homemade pastries in the shade of the cottonwoods.

Bike In Coffee has been a staple in the cycling community for years. A spot for all types of cyclists to gather and talk about the road and, of course, enjoy some of their locally grown produce. And if you’re not in an athletic mood, you can always drive there for food and drinks.

It’s been rare to see establishments host musical guests during the pandemic, but Bike In Coffee has managed to keep their musical talent in rotation. Thursday through Sunday feature a variety of acts playing different genres throughout the afternoon. If you’re a jazz-head, be sure to make your way over on the weekends. Nothing compares to an afternoon of fresh brew and the sweet sporadic notes of Latin jazz.

While the quaint farm is a stop and shop for Albuquerque cyclists and others, it also has its other amenities. The Old Town Farm also features an area for people to get hitched! So if you’re looking for a nice quarantine wedding, this is a venue to check out.

I have to say, a place to stop and chat with other cycling enthusiasts is a real treat, especially when the conversation is infused with coffee and crepes. Bike In Coffee will always be one of those places close to my heart and a stop where I can see familiar faces.
