EDO’s iconic Artichoke Cafe is planning to reopen on April 5, adding another dining option to the Central Avenue corridor. Owner Terry Keane told EatABQ they have used the pandemic shutdown to test new offerings to add to their menu of classics including, of course, huge steamed artichokes with lots and lots of butter.
EDO residents have also been watching construction on the corner of Central and Edith where Artichoke Cafe is adding a permanent outdoor patio. Keane says they are going through the permitting process with the city and state’s liquor control authorities to permit them to provide cocktails, wine and beer at new outdoor dining tables.
For fans who want to be first in line, the restaurant is taking reservations online for bookings starting April 5th. Visit their website and look for the “book now” link at the bottom.
